Srinagar, Mar 30 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir Health and Medical Education Department on Monday clarified that there is currently no proposal to resume or expand engagements under the Hospital Development Fund (HDF) in government health institutions across the Union Territory. Replying to a question raised by MLA Shabir Ahmad Kullay in the Legislative Assembly, Health and Medical Education Minister Sakina Itoo as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that prior to the issuance of Government Order No. 43-F of 2015 dated March 17, 2015—which imposed a ban on such engagements—educated and technically skilled local youth were hired in various hospitals under the HDF mechanism—(KNO)
